UniQue supports volunteers and affiliated associations in the Flemish Brabant region in realizing their objectives. Together with them, it strengthens individuals to experience their sexual orientation and gender identity positively. UniQue also wants to broaden the social view on this through awareness-raising and actions.

Queer Leuven offers and facilitates a sustainable platform for new stories and we actively contribute to an inclusive society in which everyone is equal and feels recognized. To achieve this goal, we offer a range of activities that give queer people the opportunity to discover art and express themselves creatively, through workshops, participation, festivals, performances, concerts, exhibitions, debates, etc. in all kinds of genres and disciplines.
 

Optimist is located on the Leuven Vismarkt, in a building full of history. After years of vacancy and an extensive metamorphosis, the café now stands as a meeting place for everyone.
